Industry leading laminators Profoil was formed in 1996 by Managing Director Colin Deans, who has over 20 years experience in the window related industry.
As a young, energetic company, Profoil are eager to tackle all elements of the foiling industry, both old and new. They are keen to experiment with different base materials, new colour ranges and with their experienced production team, there is no job they will not take on board.
A purpose built 20,000 sq.ft factory is part of a number of major developments in their long-term strategy. Profoil currently have 4 hot melt laminating lines running 24 hours, coupled with substantial storage space. This has enabled Profoil to increase their capacity significantly, resulting in reduced lead times, which is a key element in today’s demanding market place.The company’s success is based on a mixture of good reliable customers and a very experienced and dedicated team in the production unit and office administration. Profoil have been steadily expanding their customer base, providing quality lamination, reliable service and a great deal of flexibility.

Since July 2002, Profoil has been undertaking research into their MME’s (machine monitoring efficiencies). Since analysis began in 2002, in accordance with British standard efficiencies, to date July 2007, Profoil has produced 33,000,000 linear metres of product. The MME’s show the peaks and troughs throughout the five year period so the Company can ascertain their best use of their resources not only for the Company’s benefit but more importantly the customer base.
Being able to structure a consistent working schedule on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, makes sure that Profoil uses its resources in the right areas at the right times.
